Persons with disabilities in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in connection with the events of January 20, 1990, in connection with the Great Patriotic War, while performing military service and persons with disabilities in connection with Chernobyl NPP are provided with car in case of medical referral.
Citizens of that category must submit the following documents to the Medico-Social Expert Commission on the territory where they live:
Medical form number 88 in the district (city) polyclinic for determining the medical prescription for obtaining a free car;
Copy of identity card;
A copy of the TSEK certificate on the reason, degree of disability, approved by the relevant department of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry.
If it is difficult to drive a state-issued car in connection with the disability, it may delegate the driving license to a family member with a driving license. To do so, he shall submit the following documents to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population:
Copy of vehicle's technical passport;
Copy of identity card;
Proof of residence;
Application.
The following documents must be submitted for the handling of a car provided to a disabled citizen by another person:
Copy of identity card of disabled citizen (Notarized);
Copy of vehicle's technical passport (Notarized);
Copy of ID card (Notarized);
Copy of Driving License (Notarized);
Proof of residence of both persons.
When a person with disability dies, the vehicle must be transferred to one of the family members of that person. At this time, the following documents must be submitted:
If person with disability who died had spouse:
Copy of death certificate of the car holder who died (Notarized);
Copy of vehicle's technical passport (Notarized);
Copy of marriage certificate (Notarized);
Spouse's application;
Copy of identity card of a spouse (Notarized).
If the person with disability who died had no spouse:
Copy of death certificate of a person with disability (Notarized);
Copy of vehicle's technical passport (Notarized);
Certificate of inheritance (Notarized);
The application of the heir to be given a car;
Copy of the identity card of the heir (Notarized);
Other heirs’ applications, copy of ID cards (Notarized).
