How the status and certificate of “Labour veteran” are given.
In accordance with the approved decision No.216 of the Regulation of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 22 September 1995 “On the rules and obligations related to be granted with the name of “War, Labour and Armed Forces Veterans”, the status and certificate of Labour Veteran are given to individuals who gained the right to retire by age, awarded with orders and medals, and engaged in the public work for many years ( in cases when the man has more than 40 years of work experience, the woman who has more than 30 years of work experience). To get the status and certificate of “Labour Veteran”, individuals have to appeal to the workplace with the below mentioned supporting documents. If an individual is currently unemployed, he/she has to appeal to his/her last workplace. In case when the institution closed down where the individual has worked or the institution is converted to the non-governmental body, individuals have to appeal to the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The list of supporting documents:
- Certificate of retirement by age
- 2 photos sized 3 x 4 inches
- The copy of the identity card
- The copy of the individual’s Employment record
- Application
