Social indicators for the first quarter
In January–March of this year, 1 billion 955 million manats were allocated to pension payments, which is 11% (187 million manats) more than in the corresponding period of last year.
Since the beginning of the year, pensions have been increased by 9.3% through indexation, and after the increase, the average monthly pension reached 594 manats, including 632 manats for the average monthly old-age pension.
During January–March, 11 thousand pensions were assigned proactively through the electronic system, while since the launch of e-pension assignments in early 2019, this number has reached 190 thousand.
