Today, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 100 more apartments to families of martyrs and persons with disabilities related to the war. The apartments were presented from the new residential complex in the Hovsan settlement of Baku.
A ceremony for the presentation of the apartment documents was held at DOST Center No. 4.
During the event, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Vusal Nasirli emphasized that, thanks to the special care of President Ilham Aliyev for families of martyrs and persons with disabilities related to the war, important steps have been taken to strengthen the social protection of these categories of citizens.
He noted that following the 44-day Patriotic War, under the instructions of the Head of State, the program to provide apartments to families of martyrs and persons with disabilities related to the war has been expanded fivefold.
It was reported that in the post-war period, approximately 6,900 citizens from these categories, and in total, up to 16,000 apartments and individual houses have been provided.
The event also highlighted the ongoing efforts to strengthen social protection for families of martyrs and persons with disabilities related to the war, including social support programs, rehabilitation services, and employment support.
Members of families of martyrs and persons with disabilities related to the war expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev, noting that they are covered with attention and care and were provided with new apartments today.
