Under the leadership of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the implementation of the large-scale social support package for members of martyrs' families and war participants, implemented on the instructions of the Head of State in the period after the Patriotic War, when the Azerbaijani Army won a historic Victory, is successfully continuing.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has successfully continued to implement this social support package in the post-war period:
• 119000 monthly social payments have been assigned to 106000 individuals who are members of martyr families and war veterans, while a lump sum payment has been allocated to 25000 individuals;
• The program for providing housing to martyrs' families and people with war-related disabilities has been expanded 5 times, providing them with 6,8 thousand apartments and individual houses, and 567 cars to people with war-related disabilities;
• 83,7 thousand socio-psychological support and rehabilitation services were provided to 11 thousand people who were members of martyrs' families and war participants;
• 2,3 thousand people with war-related disabilities were provided with 76 thousand rehabilitation tools, including 493 people with 611 high-tech modern prostheses;
• 27 thousand people who were members of martyrs' families and war participants were provided with employment, including 12,9 thousand people involved in the self-employment program;
The mentioned social support package covered a total of 131 thousand people, and 391 thousand support-oriented services were provided to them.
