Following the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, one of the key aspects of social support for individuals with disabilities caused by the war is ensuring they are provided with the latest generation prosthetics.
After our magnificent victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 610 high-tech, latest generation prosthetics to 493 soldiers with war-related disabilities.
Additionally, since last year, the provision of high-tech special sports prosthetics for individuals disabled in the war has also been implemented, with 14 soldiers already receiving 15 sports prosthetics.
With their high activity and functionality, these high-tech prosthetics allow users to move freely, steadily, and confidently without the need for assistive devices. These prosthetics facilitate a quicker and easier integration into social life, and individuals can even participate in sports competitions by engaging in athletic activities.
