Social indicators for 5 months
The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 57 thousand rehabilitation aids to persons with disabilities during the 5 months of the current year.
More than 4,2 thousand of them were wheelchairs (including 41 motorized wheelchairs), 1,1 thousand lower and upper limb prostheses, 2,7 thousand canes, crutches and crutches.
Also, 4,1 thousand pairs of prostheses and orthopedic shoes, more than 560 hearing aids, corsets and other rehabilitation aids were provided to persons with disabilities.
In January-May, 7,6 thousand persons with disabilities were provided with rehabilitation aids.
