A total of 18 thousand applications were submitted to the “Voluntary DOST” programme during January–May this year, and 674 people were accepted into the programme.
The programme, which plays an important role in the development of the volunteer movement in Azerbaijan, includes sub-programmes such as “Young DOST,” “Silver DOST” (for older participants), “Distant DOST,” “Corporate DOST,” “Inclusive DOST,” “DigiDOST,” and “TeleDOST.”
Volunteers assist in DOST centres by receiving citizens, directing them to service windows, managing customer flow and queues, providing information to citizens, and supporting the use of e-systems.
They contribute to delivering public social services through a “one-stop shop” model based on citizen satisfaction principles.
The programme also helps participants gain practical experience in customer service, develop professional skills, and take their first steps in career development.
