Social Indicators for the eight-month period

The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population paid 7 billion AZN to the population in pensions, allowances, benefits and targeted state social assistance during January–August this year.

Of this amount, during the eight-month period:

            •           5.222 billion AZN was paid in pensions;

            •           961 million AZN was paid in allowances;

            •           542 million AZN was paid in benefits;

            •           270 million AZN was paid in targeted state social assistance.

The amount paid in pensions, allowances, benefits and targeted state social assistance during January–August this year was 633 million AZN (10 percent) higher than in the same period last year.
