A total of 89 children have been adopted in 2026 to date through the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
Of these children, 45 are girls and 44 are boys.
To assess the conditions of children in the families that have adopted them, monitoring is conducted until they reach the age of 18. During the first year following adoption, monitoring is carried out quarterly, while in subsequent years it is conducted once a year.
It should also be noted that individuals who adopt children deprived of parental care are provided with a monthly social benefit of 240 manats for each child aged 3–18 and 600 manats for each child with a disability.
In addition, they are entitled to a number of benefits and concessions in the areas of social security, labour and tax relations.
