Social indicators of 8 months
The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 90,000 persons with disabilities with rehabilitation services during January–August of this year.
Of them, 49.8 thousand received outpatient services, 21.1 thousand received inpatient and community-based services, while the others benefited from mobile and online services, as well as socio-psychological and hippotherapy rehabilitation services.
In recent years, along with traditional methods, advanced rehabilitation practices in line with international experience (robotic rehabilitation, socio-psychological rehabilitation, yoga, dance therapy, hippotherapy, etc.) have been applied in the Agency’s rehabilitation institutions.
Furthermore, in addition to inpatient and outpatient services, community-based, telerehabilitation, and mobile forms of rehabilitation services are also provided to persons with disabilities.
