Since the establishment of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population in 2020, reintegration measures implemented by the Agency have enabled 913 children to return from social service institutions to their families.
As part of the family reunification process, Family Development Plans are prepared to provide comprehensive social support to families. Under these plans, assistance is provided in relevant areas to strengthen families and improve their capacity to care for their children.
Following the children’s return to family care, regular monitoring is conducted to assess their overall well-being and living conditions within the family environment.
The Agency also carries out social and psychological support activities, as well as awareness-raising initiatives, to prevent children from being deprived of parental care. During the reporting period, the placement of 1,019 children into residential institutions by their families was successfully prevented.
