Today, a blood donation campaign dedicated to World Hemophilia Day was held at the Republican Blood Bank with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, the State Committee for Family, Women and Children’s Affairs, the Ministry of Science and Education, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
The blood collected from pre-screened healthy donors by the medical staff of the Republican Blood Bank is intended to support patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and leukemia.
This noble initiative, which has already become a tradition, brought together 250 participants, including employees of the aforementioned state institutions and volunteer donors.
