The First Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Belarus Tatyana Astreyko visited the DOST Agency during her official visit to our country.
Tatyana Astreyko who visited the Number 1 Baku DOST Center, was introduced to the services provided to the public there. She was briefed on the activities and operational principles of DOST centers. Presentations were made about the DOST concept and the achievements in the digitalization of state social services in recent years in Azerbaijan.
During the meeting at the Agency, Vusal Nasirli, the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population spoke about the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus based on friendship. He mentioned that cooperation in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection continues to expand.
The importance of the cooperation documents signed in recent years, including the Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries, was emphasized in the development of relations. It was noted that the Action Plan for the implementation of this Memorandum, as well as draft cooperation documents between the DOST Agency and Republican Unitary Enterprise "National Electronic Services Center" of Belarus, have already been prepared.
The achievements of the reforms carried out in Azerbaijan in the fields of labour, employment, and social protection in recent years were highlighted.
Tatyana Astreyko expressed her positive impressions regarding her visit to Azerbaijan and emphasized that continuous work is being done to expand the bilateral cooperation agenda in the social sector.
During the meeting, an exchange of ideas took place regarding future cooperation in the social field.
