In the first eleven months of this year, rehabilitation services were provided at the center to more than 7 thousand persons with disabilities.
The State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population organized a media tour to the Sheki Rehabilitation Center.
Media representatives were informed that medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services are provided to persons with disabilities at the 14-bed center. During the first eleven months of the year, rehabilitation services were delivered to more than 7 thousand persons with disabilities at the facility.
Significant work is also being carried out at the center in the field of rehabilitation of persons with disabilities related to the war. In the post-war period, 141 persons with war-related disabilities have received rehabilitation services at the center.
The facility, equipped with modern medical and rehabilitation equipment, provides services in areas such as therapeutic physical training, physiotherapy (electrostimulation, inductothermy, phonophoresis, electrophoresis, ultrasound therapy, laser therapy, therapeutic baths, paraffin therapy, etc.), therapeutic massage, swimming pool, psychotherapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and others.
Media representatives closely familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the Sheki Rehabilitation Center, as well as the medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services provided there.
