At the initiative of the public association “Zafer” Support to Martyrs’ Families, members of martyrs’ families from Türkiye, who visited our country, as well as representatives of the General Directorate of Relatives of Martyrs and Veterans of the Ministry of Family and Social Services of Türkiye, visited the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
They viewed the exhibition of handicrafts in the foyer of the Center and observed the creative process in the studios. Musical performances by the members of the Center were also presented.
Later, a meeting was held with the guests. At the meeting, Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population Fuad Musayev provided information on the measures implemented in our country to strengthen the social protection of martyrs’ families and persons with disabilities related to the war. He highlighted social support programs, rehabilitation services, and employment measures carried out for these categories of citizens. The activity areas of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center were also brought to attention.
It was noted that in the Center and its branches, efforts are made to develop the creative potential of people from vulnerable groups, including members of martyrs’ families, persons with disabilities related to the war, and their children. They are also involved in socio-psychological support activities.
The meeting included an exchange of views on the work carried out in the field of social protection of martyrs’ families and war veterans.
