An extraordinary report-election conference of the Azerbaijan Special Olympics Committee was held. During the conference, the new composition of the Azerbaijan Special Olympics Executive Committee was announced and accepted. Vugar Behbudov, the Chairman of the Board of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was elected as the new chairman of the Azerbaijan Special Olympics Committee through voting.
The Special Olympics movement provides individuals with intellectual disabilities and special needs the opportunity to showcase their athletic skills at all levels. The aim is to reveal their sports abilities while also supporting their integration into society.
