The proactive mechanism established by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population enables not only the assignment of pensions but also the automatic recalculation of pensions through the electronic system.

If a person granted an old-age pension continues to work after retirement, upon completion of 6 years of such employment, the pension is automatically recalculated and increased.

The pension capital accumulated in the individual account during the post-retirement employment period is divided by 72 (6 years × 12 months), and the resulting amount is added to the existing pension.

This proactive service ensures that increases to the pensions of working pensioners are implemented without the need for them to apply to the relevant authority, providing an efficient process focused on citizen satisfaction.
