The event, organized at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, was attended by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Madat Guliyev, President of the Azerbaijan Mountaineering Federation Mukhtar Babayev, Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs Bahar Muradova, members of parliament, representatives of the sports community, sports veterans, and other guests.
Speakers at the event noted that the film “In Pursuit of a Dream” not only portrays the success of a female mountaineer, but also once again demonstrates the willpower and strength of Azerbaijani women. It was also emphasized that the film serves as an inspiration for the younger generation, particularly young athletes, to strive for victory.
The film was watched with great interest and received with applause. At the end of the event, participants congratulated the film’s director and screenwriter, Arzu Urshan, as well as its protagonist, Elmira Aslanova, for the successful cinematic work.
