6 vocational training courses were organized for about 100 people by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population and the Public Union of the Organization of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.
Among them, 25 people in Masalli were mediatours in professional courses involving disabled people.
The courses organized in the institution located in the Masalli Industrial District include tailoring and carpet weaving.
Media representatives got acquainted with the educational process at the institution where the courses are organized. They were informed about the organization of vocational training conducted by the Agency.
It was noted that today the Agency organizes courses on 175 professions and specialties that meet the requirements of the labor market. The Agency also operates 3 Vocational Training Centers in Baku, Ganja and Goychay.
Active cooperation with employers is carried out at the level of social partnership for the efficient organization of vocational courses and their result-oriented nature. This is of great importance in ensuring the graduates of the courses with jobs in their newly acquired professions. The organization of these courses for persons with disabilities was also carried out in cooperation with the Public Association of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.
Attendees involved in the courses are given a stipend in the amount of the minimum monthly salary during the professional course, and support is provided for the employment of those who successfully complete the courses.
