Efforts to bring children affected by the war in Ukraine to Azerbaijan for rehabilitation services are ongoing.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, and organized by the State Agency for Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation, an additional 30 children have been brought from Ukraine to Azerbaijan to receive rehabilitation services.
The children will participate in a 10-day rehabilitation program at the Gabala Child Rehabilitation Center, where they will be provided with medical and socio-psychological rehabilitation services.
The program includes individual consultations and group therapy sessions conducted by professional psychologists, as well as yoga and dance therapy classes. The primary aim is to support the stabilization of the children's emotional well-being and facilitate their integration into society.
Furthermore, excursions to recreational facilities and historical-architectural monuments in Gabala and Sheki will be organized for the children.
Including the previous seven groups, more than 200 Ukrainian children have now been brought to Azerbaijan and provided with socio-psychological rehabilitation services.
