The process of bringing to Azerbaijan children affected by the war in Ukraine and engaging them in rehabilitation services continues.
Through the organization of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, another 30 children have been brought from Ukraine to benefit from rehabilitation services in our country.
At the Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Center of the Agency, the children will participate in a 10-day rehabilitation program that includes medical, social, and psychological services.
The program provides individual consultations and group therapy sessions conducted by professional psychologists, along with yoga and dance therapy classes. The aim is to support the stabilization of the children’s emotional well-being and facilitate their integration into society.
Excursions to recreation centers, as well as historical and architectural monuments in Gabala and Sheki, will also be organized for the children.
Including the previous eight groups, nearly 300 Ukrainian children have so far been brought to Azerbaijan and provided with social-psychological rehabilitation services.
