The new decree by President Ilham Aliyev aims to improve and optimize the activities of the DOST Agency and its services. This was stated during an info session held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, which focused on the activities of the DOST Agency.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev emphasized the significance of the DOST concept, initiated by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, in providing state social services to the public through a “single window” model that is transparent, efficient, and citizen-oriented.
It was noted that the improvement of DOST services is ongoing, and with the new decree, the list of DOST services has been updated, reflecting the continuous increase in the number of these services, which is in line with the social reforms carried out in recent years.
A presentation about the activities of the DOST Agency was given, mentioning that more than 3,3 million citizens have been served at DOST centers, including 159000 in the first two months of this year. The average number of daily applications for the current year is 4200.
It was also highlighted that citizen satisfaction with these services is 98,5%, with the average waiting time at DOST centers being 2 minutes and 41 seconds, and the average service time being 7 minutes and 28 seconds.
Around 140000 applications have been recorded for the "Voluntary DOST" program, with 6100 people being engaged in the program.
The session also discussed the expansion of the DOST center network, the implementation of new innovative solutions, human resource management, improvements in mediation services at DOST centers, and the Agency's international successes.
The session concluded with a discussion on the tasks and ongoing work in the Agency's areas of activity.
