The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population continues its activities to organize vocational training for job seekers in the territories of our country liberated from occupation.
For this purpose, an infotour was organized for representatives of private educational institutions to the Agency’s Karabakh Vocational Training Center and to the city of Khankendi.
During the visit, they familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the Karabakh Vocational Training Center to enable job seekers to acquire professions in line with labor market demands.
It was reported that the Center provides opportunities for training in 48 professional directions (tailor, seamstress, designer, cook, waiter, barber, makeup artist, locksmith, carpenter, turner, stonemason, furniture maker, painter, welder, information technologies, etc.).
It was also noted that, in order to improve the quality of workforce training in the territories liberated from occupation, the organization of vocational courses in these areas will be further expanded.
Subsequently, the infotour participants visited several enterprises operating in the city of Khankendi. During the meeting, future cooperation opportunities in organizing vocational training together with private educational institutions were discussed to ensure sustainable employment of individuals relocated to the liberated territories and to meet the requirements of employers.
