Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev and Head of the Zagatala District Executive Power Mubariz Ahmadzada inspected the small businesses established for Zagatala residents Abdullayev Samir Karim oglu and Gafarova Maisa Afer gizi within the framework of the self-employment program.
With the support of the self-employment program, small businesses were established for S.Abdullayev in the field of telephone repair, and for M.Gafarova in the field of men's barbershop. They expressed their gratitude to the head of state for the support provided to them in accessing small business opportunities.
In the past period, small businesses were established for 1923 people in Zagatala within the framework of the self-employment program.
Based on the project implemented by order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry, the services provided to children in the day care center operating in Zagatala since May 1 this year were reviewed.
The center provides services to 30 children belonging to vulnerable groups of the population, as well as those with disabilities. Psychologists, social workers, educators and other specialists support their cognitive, emotional and physical development, social adaptation, acquisition of primary writing and reading skills, etc.
Day care centers are currently operating in 30 cities and regions of our country under the project, which was implemented by order of the agency.
The Sheki Rehabilitation Center of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry was also inspected.
In recent years, major repairs have been carried out at the Sheki Rehabilitation Center, and the institution has been equipped with modern medical and rehabilitation equipment. In the 5 months of this year, the center provided complex medical and social rehabilitation services to up to 2 thousand people with disabilities using effective physiotherapeutic methods.
