On June 23 - the Professional Holiday of Civil Servants, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population held an oath-taking ceremony for the employees newly appointed to permanent civil service.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev congratulated the participants of the event on the Professional Holiday of Civil Servants.
He said that 10 employees of the Ministry were among those awarded the medal "For Distinction in Civil Service" by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated June 21, 2025, and in total, 157 employees of the Ministry have been awarded state awards since 2018.
Anar Aliyev expressed gratitude to the Head of State for the high attention and care shown on behalf of the awarded Ministry employees. The Minister emphasized the services of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev in establishing a public administration system based on democratic values and progressive principles in our country.
He noted that national legislation was created in this area on the instructions of the Great Leader, and the civil service system has been further improved year by year based on the successful reform program of President Ilham Aliyev. The words of the Head of State "Every person should know that being in the civil service is not a privilege, but a responsibility, an opportunity to serve people" should always be the main principle of action for every person admitted to the civil service.
Congratulating the employees who were awarded and appointed to administrative positions in the civil service in the Ministry, Anar Aliyev wished them success in their future activities.
Narmin Bayramova, Head of the Civil Service and Human Resources Issues Department of the Ministry, made a speech on the topic "25 Years of Development of the Civil Service in the Republic of Azerbaijan". Information was provided on the recruitment process for vacant positions in the civil service administrative positions in the Ministry, as well as the results of the work done in this area. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played at the event and 42 employees who were recruited to administrative positions in the Ministry's system took the oath.
The speech of the youngest employee working in the civil service was heard and service cards were presented to the newly appointed civil servants. They made speeches and stated that they would always justify the trust and confidence shown at a worthy level.
