The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population also ensures the active participation of women in the self-employment program.
Of those involved in the program in the past period of this year, 3445 were women.
Based on their choices, 1938 of them were involved in the program to create small businesses in agriculture and 1507 in the production and service sectors.
Training is first organized for program participants and they acquire knowledge and skills in organizing and managing small businesses. Those who complete the training are provided with assets in the type of economic activity they have chosen.
