At the initiative of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, another 30 children from Ukraine have been brought to our country to receive social and psychological rehabilitation services.
The children are expected to receive medical as well as social and psychological support as part of a 10-day programme at the Agency’s Gabala Children’s Rehabilitation Centre.
The rehabilitation programme aims to improve the children’s psychological well-being, promote their socialisation and ensure the effective organisation of their leisure time.
During the programme, individual psychological consultations, group therapy sessions, yoga and dance therapy classes will be organised. In addition, the children will benefit from therapeutic massage, access to a therapeutic pool and baths, art therapy and other rehabilitation services.
Excursions to historical sites and places of interest in Sheki and Shamakhi, as well as Gabala, are also planned.
