The State Social Protection Fund (SSPF) under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has been awarded the UN Public Service Award for its initiative “Inclusive and equitable social security services for all” in the category “Providing inclusive and equitable services to leave no one behind”.
The award was presented to Zaka Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the SSPF, at an award ceremony held today in Tbilisi, Georgia.
The Fund was awarded the UN Public Service Award for its innovative reforms in the field of social security, in particular the proactive determination of social payments, the citizen-oriented service model based on digital technologies, and its significant achievements in increasing the accessibility, efficiency, transparency and inclusiveness of social services.
The award is given for excellent performance in the field of public service provision. The aim is to reward and promote innovative achievements and contributions of state institutions in different countries of the world.
