The 130th meeting of the Bureau of the International Social Security Association (ISSA) was held in Geneva (Switzerland).
Zaka Mirzayev, Chairman of the Board of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, who attended the meeting, was elected a member of the ISSA Bureau by open voting.
The importance of the Bureau in the management of the Association and the organization of its services was emphasized during the two-day meeting. Information was provided on changes in the positions of Bureau members and chairman of Technical Commissions, the status of membership in the Association, and new applications.
The meeting heard reports on the activities of the ISSA President and Secretary General, cooperation with the International Labour Organization, as well as on finance and control for 2024.
At the same time, program and budget proposals covering 2026-2028, as well as proposals for amendments to the ISSA Charter, were discussed.
