Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev met with Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz.
The delegation led by Minister Anar Aliyev is on a visit to Ankara to participate in the 12th meeting of the Joint Permanent Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Labour and Social Protection between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the Republic of Türkiye.
The delegation laid flowers at the monument of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in Heydar Aliyev Park in Ankara, paying tribute to his cherished memory. They also visited the mausoleum of the founder of the Republic of Türkiye, Mustafa Kemal Atatürk — Anıtkabir, where they laid a wreath. The delegation toured the Anıtkabir Museum, and the Minister wrote heartfelt words in the museum’s memorial book.
Within the framework of the visit, Anar Aliyev held a meeting with Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that, as a result of the brotherly relations and active political dialogue based on mutual respect and trust between President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, relations between the two countries have reached the level of strategic alliance.
It was noted that cooperation in the field of labour and social protection is also being continuously strengthened, and the importance of exchanges of experience and information was underlined. The successful social reforms carried out in both countries were discussed. It was highlighted that the Joint Permanent Commission of the two Ministries has been carrying out purposeful work to develop cooperation in the field of labour and social protection.
Confidence was expressed that the next meeting of the Commission would contribute to the further expansion of cooperation in this direction, and an exchange of views took place regarding future collaboration in the social sphere.
