Labour ministers and delegations of the member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, who are on a visit to our country, came to the Alley of Honour and paid tribute to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. They laid a wreath and flowers at his grave.
The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, was also honoured with deep respect, and flowers were laid at her grave.
Later, the guests visited the Alley of Martyrs, where they respectfully commemorated the memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and sovereignty of our country. They laid flowers on the graves and placed a wreath at the Eternal Flame monument.
