A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population with Yuriy Husyev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine to our country.
Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev highlighted the bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine based on friendly relations. The Minister noted that over the past period, the two countries have had successful cooperation in the fields of labour, employment, social protection, and rehabilitation.
The importance of the cooperation documents signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine was emphasized. The efforts made to bring children affected by the war in Ukraine to Azerbaijan and provide them with social-psychological services were mentioned.
Information was provided about the reforms carried out in recent years in Azerbaijan in the fields of labour, employment, social protection, rehabilitation, and the successes of the digitalization program in the social sector.
Yuriy Husyev expressed his satisfaction with the continuous expansion of relations between our countries and emphasized the importance of sustained cooperation and experience exchange in the process of social reforms. During the meeting, discussions were held on future cooperation between the two countries in the fields of social security and rehabilitation.
