A photo exhibition featuring images of Baku’s architectural monuments taken by the Centre’s beneficiaries is also being presented.
Trainers and beneficiaries of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population performed an inclusive concert programme at the “Urban Expo” exhibition venue of WUF13 held in Baku.
Before the concert programme, forum participants were informed about the Centre’s areas of activity, as well as projects implemented to support the social integration of vulnerable population groups and promote an inclusive environment.
It was noted that during its period of activity, the Centre and its branches have provided services to more than 1,000 people. Information was also provided about the participation of trainers and beneficiaries in national and international events and efforts made to promote their creative work.
A special exhibition featuring works by beneficiaries involved in photography training was also presented at the Centre’s pavilion organised under the theme “A space where inclusiveness and creativity meet”. The exhibition displays photographs taken by talented authors from vulnerable groups at various locations across the capital within the framework of the “Year of Urban Planning and Architecture”, reflecting Baku’s architectural monuments.
In addition, an artistic carving masterclass organised within the framework of the event gave participants an opportunity to become closely acquainted with the subtleties of this ancient craft.
During the forum, members of the Centre are also expected to present various creative programmes aimed at introducing guests to Azerbaijan’s rich culture and promoting inclusiveness in society.
