A media tour was organized to the newly established DOST point in the Kalbajar. Media representatives were informed that the DOST concept is one of the key achievements of the social reforms carried out in line with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.
Initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, the DOST concept has created conditions for the provision of state social services through a “single window” system, based on modern, flexible, fully transparent, and innovative mechanisms.
Significant efforts are being made to ensure that the territories liberated from occupation are also covered by DOST services. In May 2022, a “Smart DOST” point was opened in the Aghali, Zangilan.
Furthermore, in August 2023, with the participation of the Head of State, the Karabakh Regional DOST Center was inaugurated in Barda to serve residents of the districts of Barda, Tartar, Aghjabadi, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojaly, Shusha, Khojavand, Aghdara, and Khankendi. In June 2024, a branch of the Karabakh Regional DOST Center was opened in Shusha.
As the next step in this direction, a DOST point has now been established in Kalbajar under the Karabakh Regional DOST Center. The new point enables residents relocated to Kalbajar to easily access state social services, ensuring the delivery of services through a “single window” system, in a modern, flexible, and fully transparent manner, in line with citizen satisfaction.
Media representatives were acquainted with the facilities and services provided at the DOST point.
It should be noted that the Kalbajar DOST point has been designed in a modern style, incorporating elements of mobility and constructiveness. In addition, it is planned to provide employment services as well as services by employees of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA), with the capacity to serve an average of up to 120 citizens per day.
