Event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ministry

Another 144 Ministry employees were accepted into the ranks of the New Azerbaijan Party based on their applications and presented with Party cards

An event dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. The event was attended by Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, Deputy Chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) - Head of the Central Office Tahir Budagov, and Chairman of the YAP Yasamal District Organization Bakhtiyar Nabiyev.

The national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, and the precious memories of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs were honored with a one-minute silence.

Anar Aliyev emphasized that in the 1970s and 1980s, National Leader Heydar Aliyev managed to transform Azerbaijan from one of the lagging agrarian republics in the former Soviet Union into one of the most dynamically developing advanced republics. He noted that Heydar Aliyev's return to leadership in June 1993, at the call of the people, saved Azerbaijan from the threat of losing its state independence and from a deep political, economic, and social crisis.

The Minister also highlighted that as the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, National Leader Heydar Aliyev formed the country's social development strategy. He pointed out that the first national constitution of independent Azerbaijan, adopted in 1995, also defined ensuring a dignified standard of living for Azerbaijani citizens as a supreme state objective. Thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, which continues to be carried out at a high level by our esteemed President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan has achieved significant historical successes and gained a glorious historical victory.

Anar Aliyev drew attention to the successes of the consecutive social reforms carried out in recent years under the instructions of the President. He also mentioned the activities of the New Azerbaijan Party, which was founded by National Leader Heydar Aliyev, the territorial party organization of the Ministry located in Yasamal, 85, Salatın Asgarova Street.

It was reported that 96 territorial party organizations were created within the Ministry's Office and its subordinate organizations, and the number of YAP members among Ministry employees is close to 5500.

Tahir Budagov spoke about the invaluable services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to the Azerbaijani people and state. He emphasized that the great work done by Heydar Aliyev during the Soviet period played a crucial role in Azerbaijan's later development as an independent state. After returning to leadership, he laid the foundation for the independent Azerbaijani state and led it to long-term progress.

He further noted that as a result of the continuation of Heydar Aliyev's political course by President Ilham Aliyev, today Azerbaijan is not only a leading state in the region, but also holds significant influence in a vast geographical area.

Following this, another 144 employees from the Ministry system were presented with YAP membership cards.

The newly admitted party members expressed their gratitude for the trust and confidence shown in them.
