A meeting was held between the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev and the Minister of Family and Social Services of Türkiye Mahinur Ozdemir Goktash, who is visiting our country, during a working dinner.
Mahinur Ozdemir Goktash is on a visit to Azerbaijan to participate in the 2nd meeting of the ministers and heads of institutions responsible for family issues and social policy of the Organization of Turkic States in Baku on the topic "The role of women in modern society: sustainable development and traditional values".
During the meeting, it was emphasized that as a result of the joint efforts of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, relations between the two countries have risen to the level of strategic alliance. It was noted that our bilateral cooperation is constantly expanding in all areas, including the social field.
The work carried out under the Action Plan for 2024-2025 on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the Ministry of Family and Social Services of Türkiye was discussed.
Taking into account the intensification of cooperation and the successful continuation of joint activities, an exchange of views was held on the preparation of a new Action Plan for the coming years and future cooperation.
