The “Labour and Employment” subsystem (EMAS) of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population plays an important role in monitoring compliance with labour rights and ensuring the principles of decent work.
EMAS is a unified labour relations platform that enables employment relations between an employee and an employer to be formalised electronically through an employment contract and managed on a digital basis.
The subsystem contains information on the validity period of employment contracts, amendments to contracts, wages paid to employees, the granting of annual leave, business trips, etc. Appropriate monitoring of compliance with labour rights is carried out based on this information.
In addition, continuous work is being carried out to improve EMAS in order to expand access to digital services for employees and employers and organise monitoring of compliance with labour legislation in a more efficient and effective manner.
The development of a proactive service model that provides for advance notifications regarding the expiry of employment contracts and risks of violations of labour legislation, as well as the possibilities of introducing self-check tools and digital audit mechanisms for employers, are also being considered.
