7-month social indicators

The State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population paid 1 billion 314 million manats in benefits and monthly Presidential pensions to 1 million 68 thousand people during January-July of this year.

Of these:

· 505 thousand people received 738 million manats in benefits;

· 405 thousand people received 474 million manats in Presidential pensions;

· 158 thousand people received 102 million manats in benefits paid from social insurance funds.

The amount of payments made was 13 percent higher for benefits, 14 percent higher for pensions, and 8 percent higher for social insurance benefits compared with the corresponding period of last year.

In the first 7 months of this year, another 86 thousand benefit and pension assignments, and since 2019, when electronic assignment of social payments began, 966 thousand assignments have been carried out proactively through the electronic system.
