In the 5 months of the current year, 2 billion 954 million manats were allocated for pension payments, which is 10 percent (261 million manats) more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Since the beginning of 2025, all types of pensions have been indexed and increased by 8,1 percent, and since February 1, the minimum pension has been increased by 14,3 percent from 280 manats to 320 manats.
Since the beginning of 2019, when electronic pension assignment was launched, a total of 159000 pensions — including 21000 during the January–May period — have been assigned proactively through the e-system.
