Social indicators for the first quarter
In the first quarter of this year, the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided 29,4 thousand rehabilitation aids to persons with disabilities.
Among them, 2,1 thousand were wheelchairs (including 38 motorized wheelchairs), 674 were prosthetics for lower and upper limbs, 282 were hearing aids, and 1,3 thousand were canes, crutches, and elbow crutches.
Additionally, 883 pairs of prosthetics, 1,3 thousand pairs of orthopedic shoes, 114 corsets, and other rehabilitation aids were provided to persons with disabilities.
Between January and March, a total of 4,5 thousand individuals with disabilities received rehabilitation aids.
