They also observed the admission process for persons from vulnerable groups to DOST House.
An infotour for representatives of non-governmental organisations (NGOs) was organised at the Ismayilli DOST House branch of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The purpose of the infotour was to familiarise civil society institutions with the activities carried out at Ismayilli DOST House to develop the creative potential, provide social rehabilitation and support the integration into society of persons from vulnerable groups.
Elnara Ansari, Director of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, informed the participants of the infotour about the activities of the branch and the inclusive projects being implemented.
As part of the infotour, NGO representatives also observed the latest admission process to DOST House conducted by the Assessment Commission.
The skills of nearly 40 persons from vulnerable groups from Ismayilli and Shamakhi districts were individually assessed, and they were admitted to training and practical sessions in relevant service areas at the facility. Most of them expressed interest in visual arts, culinary arts, tailoring, artistic wood carving and pottery.
Thus, the number of beneficiaries receiving services at Ismayilli DOST House has reached 112.
At the end of the meeting, the questions of the NGO representatives were answered, and their views and suggestions were heard.
