State Customs Committee Team Won the Competition
Organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, an intellectual knowledge contest on the theme “National Leader Heydar Aliyev is the Author of the Independent Azerbaijan Constitution” was held among employees of state institutions.
Participants of the event also viewed an exhibition of handicrafts made by persons with disabilities, dedicated to the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty.”
Fuad Musayev, Chief of Staff of the Ministry, provided information about the contest. Within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” 26 teams composed of employees of state institutions demonstrated their intellectual abilities in the competition.
The event was attended by senior officials of state institutions, members of parliament, representatives of civil society organizations, and other guests.
The teams competed intensely for victory. The State Customs Committee’s team scored the highest points and became the winner of the contest. The Ministry of Culture’s team took second place, while the State Migration Service’s team came in third.
At the award ceremony, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, Member of Parliament Musa Guliyev, and Chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan Sahib Mammadov were present.
A. Aliyev emphasized that after the adoption of the Constitution, prepared through the tireless efforts and special attention of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, state governance, the political system, and legal relations entered a completely new stage.
He underlined that the Constitution, which declared the improvement of people’s welfare and the provision of a decent standard of living for citizens as one of the main goals of the state, became the legal foundation for subsequent reforms and development.
Other speakers highlighted that the intellectual contest plays an important role in stimulating the development of employees’ worldview, intellectual capacity, and analytical thinking skills. They noted that such contests are valuable for enhancing knowledge levels and improving analytical thinking abilities.
In conclusion, the winning teams were awarded certificates, medals, and gifts, while the champion team also received a trophy.
