A labour fair was organised in Nakhchivan city by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
At the opening of the fair, Rasim Piriyev, Chairman of the Agency’s Board, highlighted the importance of labour fairs in ensuring employment for unemployed and job-seeking citizens.
He noted that these active employment initiatives play an important role not only for youth but also for able-bodied persons without a specialty or profession in securing employment.
During the event, more than 20 enterprises offered over 140 vacancies to unemployed and job-seeking citizens. The CVs of applicants were collected and reviewed, and measures were initiated to facilitate their employment.
Additionally, participants were provided with detailed information about the Agency’s active employment programmes, and initial surveys were conducted to identify their employment needs.
