Next week, a meeting of the OIC Labour Center will be held in Baku.
With the participation of the labor ministers and delegations of OIC member states, a session of the Executive Council of the Labour Center will take place, along with a preparatory meeting of senior officials for the 2nd Session of the General Assembly of the OIC Labour Center.
The events, scheduled for September 23–24, aim to discuss and adopt important resolutions concerning the activities of the organization.
Within the framework of the program, a high-level round table will also be organized jointly by the OIC Labour Center and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of Azerbaijan.
It should be recalled that the OIC Labour Center was established in 2023 in Baku during the 5th Conference of Labour Ministers of the OIC member states.
As the youngest institution of the OIC, the Center plays an important role in expanding cooperation among member countries in the areas of labour market development, protection of workers’ rights, and enhancement of employment opportunities.
