President Ilham Aliyev signed an Order amending the Order No. dated January 25, 2021 “On a number of measures to improve the social and living conditions of persons with disabilities and families of martyrs in connection with the protection of the territorial integrity, independence and constitutional structure of the Republic of Azerbaijan”.
The amendment defines the period of 2021-2025 specified in the Order as 2021-2030 for the phased provision of apartments or private houses to families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities registered as needing housing from January 1, 2014 to January 1, 2023, as well as persons with disabilities determined in connection with the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl NPP (including the fulfillment of military service duties (service duties)), regardless of the date of registration.
In the process of compiling the state budget each year, the relevant funds will also be included in the state-funded investment (investment expenses).
The program of providing housing to families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities, which is one of the important social programs, has been expanded 5 times since the Great Patriotic War, which ended with our Victory.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population provided them with 6,8 thousand apartments and individual houses in the post-war period, and 16 thousand in the past period in general, and this year it is planned to provide another 1000 apartments.
