The State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population organised a media tour to enterprises in Aghdam regarding occupational safety.
The media tour, dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the Patriotic War, was also attended by the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation, the Azerbaijan Mine Action Agency, and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency.
The purpose of the tour was to inform the public about the work carried out in the field of occupational safety in the liberated territories and the safe working conditions created in enterprises.
Participants were briefed by the Service on the measures implemented in the field of occupational safety. It was highlighted that, jointly with partner organisations, 46 awareness-raising events were held this year, covering 135 employers and nearly 4,700 employees.
Media representatives also became acquainted on-site with preventive measures taken to ensure occupational safety and create a healthy working environment at “Tabaterra” LLC, “BAFCO Invest” LLC, and “Eel Electric” LLC in Aghdam.
