A meeting of the Sub-Working Group on Inclusive Social Development and Social Security, established by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers in accordance with the Order of President Ilham Aliyev for the preparation of the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2027–2030”, was held.
The head of the working group, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev stated that dynamic socio-economic development continues successfully in our country based on the “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-Economic Development” approved by the Order of the Head of State.
It was noted that significant progress has been made on the identified National Priority “Dynamic, Inclusive and Socially Just Society”. It was noted that significant increases in wages, pensions and other social payments have been achieved with the consistent and large-scale social reforms carried out in recent years. It was also emphasized that important steps have been taken in the areas of strengthening social protection of vulnerable population groups, ensuring inclusion, and expanding active employment programs.
It was stated that the Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2027–2030, as in all areas in our country, will serve the purpose of continuing the achievements made in the areas of labour, employment, social protection, rehabilitation, social services, and the development of an inclusive society.
The meeting discussed the work to be done by the Sub-Working Group on Inclusive Social Development and Social Security to prepare the draft Strategy.
