The Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, Anar Aliyev, received residents of the Gobustan and Shamakhi districts in the Gobustan district.
Prior to the meeting, Anar Aliyev and the Head of the Gobustan District Executive Authority, Adil Mammadov, visited the monument of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev.
During the reception, citizens raised issues related to employment, disability, housing provision, targeted social assistance, and other matters. Among the applicants were also family members of martyrs and war participants.
The Minister also met with residents of Gobustan, including the family members of the martyr, Hero of the Patriotic War, Elyar Valiyev. He emphasised that providing social support to the families of martyrs and war participants is one of the main areas of the Ministry’s activities.
Each citizen’s application was examined individually, and appropriate measures were taken in accordance with the outcome. Explanations were provided in accordance with the legislation regarding inquiries.
Based on their applications, citizens were registered for participation in active labour market programmes, as well as in the self-employment programme.
