The State Labour Inspection Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population identified that employers had delayed the payment of 456,049 manats in socially related payments to employees during January-July.

As a result of the measures taken, the employers paid the outstanding amounts to the employees. 91 percent of these payments consisted of wages, while 9 percent consisted of compensation for damages, benefits and other compensatory payments.

During the investigation of applications, the State Labour Inspection Service also determined that the employment contracts of 63 employees had been terminated in violation of the requirements of legislation.

As a result of the measures taken by the Service in accordance with the legislation, these employees were reinstated in their previous positions.
